To enter the venue, Fira Gran Via, attendees, staff, exhibitors, and visitors will need to upload onto registration or the MWC App, either:

  • A document certifying proof of vaccination against COVID-19
  • A valid certificate of recovery from COVID-19 or
  • A negative diagnostic test, either a PCR or Rapid Antigen Test

For more information on accepted health documents, please check the site here.

Once uploaded, these documents will be validated by our medical partner, Quirónprevención.

Vaccine verifications and valid certificates of recovery will provide access for the entire duration of the event.

Non-vaccinated and/or tested individuals will have access to the venue for 72 hours beginning from the time the sample was taken. Access for tested individuals will be limited to whole days in the venue. No remaining or partial hours will be permitted for access to the venue. The test must be repeated every 72 hours, with participants notified through the MWC app of upcoming expiration.

Regardless of status, all attendees, exhibitors, and visitors will be required to complete a daily health declaration via the MWC App before entering the venue.

There will not be a testing centre on-site for MWC2022. All tests will be performed by our testing partners including exit PCR tests. List will be available on our website soon.

As with MWC Barcelona 2021, we will require all attendees, staff, visitors and suppliers to wear a FFP2 (Filtering Facepiece Respirators) mask for the entirety of their time in the venue.
